RFQ/24/25/08/B PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM ENGINEER – CAPE MAIL & BELLVILLE POST OFFICE Cape Mail Centre is South African Post Office Western Cape region domestic and international mail sorting centre/ warehouse, situated at Cnr. Mail & Showground, Epping Industrial, Cape Town. Bellville Post Office is a company owned, situated at Cnr. Rhos and Davies Streets, Bellville. This building accommodates various business units including amalgamation of post offices and depots forced closures by landlords, IT server Room, Retail office, etc. Please find the following as reference: The Fire Sprinkler and Detection systems require urgent assessment to establish upgrade/ repairs to comply with fire regulation, optimum performance and other statutory requirements including ASIB & FSIB certification. GATEKEEPER CRITERIA: 1. Attendance of compulsory - briefing session and site inspection. 2. Bidders must submit a completed RFQ document, Bill of Quantity and Pricing Schedule in full and in the format provided by SAPO attached to this bid document. 3. Bidders must submit the following mandatory documents. 3.1 Bidder to provide proof of a valid registration with ECSA Fire Protection Professional with Professional Indemnity [PI] insurance for Engineers.
