NOTICE AND INVITATION TO BID EDM/19/2021-22 RE-ADVERTISEMENT APPOINTMENT OF SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PROTECTIVE CLOTHING TO WASTE PICKERS EHLANZENI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY HEREBY INVITES PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS FOR THE ABOVE-MENTIONED TENDER Only bidders who have provided the following mandatory information and documents to be used to evaluate the bidder's responsiveness will be considered for further evaluation on functionality: • Central Supplier Database (CSD) Registration Report • Valid SARS PIN • Certified copies of company registration documents from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and bidders must attach certified copies of shareholder’s certificates where applicable. • Certified copies of identity documents for company directors • Joint Venture or Consortium Agreement if applicable (Not re-typed or converted) • Fully completed tender document as issued and signed • Certified copy or copies of municipal account/s not older than three months for both the bidder and the company directors • The bid comprises of local content and production for designated sectors such as locally produced or locally manufactured footwear and steel products, leather and textile at 100%, and prospective service providers are required by law to complete the MBD 6.2 with its Templates- Annexures C, D and E (Local production), failure to complete the documents will lead to automatic disqualification as the bid will be considered non responsive. Received bids will be evaluated on responsiveness based on mandatory requirements, functionality with a minimum threshold of 70 points, and price and B-BBEE status level of contribution in accordance with the criteria stipulated on the bid or tender documents in line with the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017. Further information regarding the downloading and uploading of documents will be explained in the virtual briefing session.
