Who wins South African government tenders

Suppliers ranked by published public-sector awards, with the buying entities that appoint them. Reading a competitor's award history is the cheapest market research a bidder has — it tells you who the incumbent is before you spend days on a submission.

Common questions

Where does this come from?
Award notices published by South African organs of state, linked back to the original tender. A supplier appears here once it has two or more published awards — a single award makes a page with nothing useful on it.
Why does the same company appear only once?
Buyers spell supplier names inconsistently — the same firm is published four different ways in some cases. Those variants are merged, so a supplier's record shows their full history rather than a fraction of it split across spellings.
How is this useful if I am bidding?
It tells you who a buyer keeps appointing before you spend days on a submission. If one supplier wins most of an entity's work in your category, you are bidding against an incumbent and should price and position accordingly — or target a buyer with a more open field.
