Main Navigation Bar
The navigation bar at the top of every page gives you access to all major sections:
Logo / Home
Click the Okhantu logo to return to your dashboard from anywhere.
Explore
Browse all platform services and discover new features.
Tenders
Access the tender portal to search and filter opportunities.
Global Search
Search across tenders, guides, and your documents.
Notifications
View alerts, updates, and items needing attention.
Profile Menu
Access your profile, settings, and sign out.
Using Global Search
The global search bar is one of the fastest ways to find anything on Okhantu:
Search Tenders
Type keywords to find matching tenders across all categories.
Try: 'Construction Johannesburg' or 'IT services RFQ'
Search Guides
Find help articles and guides by topic.
Try: 'CIPC verification' or 'B-BBEE certificate'
Search Documents
Find your uploaded documents by name or type.
Try: 'Tax clearance 2024' or 'Company profile'
Search Professionals
Find ProGuild professionals by name or expertise.
Try: 'Auditor Durban' or 'Tax consultant'
Ctrl + K (or Cmd + K on Mac) from anywhere to open the search bar instantly.Side Menu (Dashboard)
When you're in your dashboard, the side menu provides quick access to all your tools:
Profile Menu
Click your profile picture or initials in the top right to access:
Breadcrumb Navigation
When you navigate deeper into sections, breadcrumbs help you track where you are and go back:
Click any breadcrumb to jump back to that level. The current page is shown at the end and isn't clickable.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Power users can navigate faster with these keyboard shortcuts:

Hamburger Menu
Tap the menu icon to access all sections in a slide-out menu
Swipe Gestures
Swipe right from the left edge to open the menu, left to go back
Pull to Refresh
Pull down on lists to refresh data
Quick Navigation Tips
Use search for everything
The global search is often faster than navigating through menus, especially for specific items.
Bookmark frequent pages
Use your browser's bookmarks for pages you visit often, like the tender search or your quotes.
Use the back button
Your browser's back button works throughout Okhantu to return to previous pages.
Open in new tab
Right-click (or Ctrl+click) links to open them in a new tab without losing your place.
Collapse the sidebar
Click the collapse icon at the bottom of the sidebar to give yourself more screen space.
